Steven Richard Nehring, age 60, of Wells, MN, died Saturday, March 24, 2018 at his home. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at 11:00 AM at United Lutheran Church in Walters, MN, with Pastor Don Rose officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 AM prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Interment will be at a later date at Rice Lake Cemetery.

Steven Richard was born September 19, 1957 in Wells, MN, the son of Richard and Arlene Nehring. Steve enjoyed participating in band, football, and track during his years at Kiester High School. He was crowned homecoming king during his senior year of 1976. Steve was a lifelong farmer, and always enjoyed his companion dogs. He also enjoyed his volunteer work for Multiple Sclerosis Camp for a number of summers, travels with friends, and scuba diving.

He is survived by his parents: Richard and Arlene Nehring of Walters, MN; sister: Diane Manske (special friend, Jim Skogen) of Blue Earth, MN; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
