Scott Wayne Larson, age 33, of Minnesota Lake, MN died Monday, September 25, 2017 at his home in rural Minnesota Lake. A funeral service will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells with Reverend Paul Larson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be Saturday, September 30, at 2:00 PM in Oak Grove Cemetery in Fergus Falls, MN.

Scott was born February 28, 1984 in Owatonna, MN, the son of Philip and Sarah (Sorenson) Larson. Scott attended pre-school and elementary school in Fergus Falls, graduating from Braham High school with the class of 2005. He had worked at Mora Industries, and STEP II in Fairmont, MN. Scott was a happy young man, with a contagious and joyful smile. His family would like to thank all of the teachers and caregivers who made a positive impact on his life, and theirs.

Scott is survived by his parents: Philip and Sarah Larson; sister, Kari Larson and her daughter, Ariana Larson; and brother, Josh Larson, all of Minnesota Lake, MN; grandmother, Carol Larson, and grandfather, Don Hickerson; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Lloyd Larson; maternal grandparents: Bernard and Bernice Sorenson, and Barb Hickerson; aunts: Colleen Larson and Vicki Ellenson; uncles: Gary Larson, and Norm Schmelzer.
