Ronald Arthur Korn, age 57, of Mankato, MN, formerly of Wells, MN, died at his home, Tuesday, July 25, 2017. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wells, MN, with Pr. Katie Pals officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, July 27, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Ron was born August 21, 1959 in Wells, MN, the son of Luvern and Ethel (Gerber) Korn. He graduated from Wells-Easton High School in 1977, and worked in sales and purchasing. Ron married Marlys Arens and to this union three daughters were born, the couple later divorced. Ron was a member of the Wells Golf Club, served as a school board member and Chairman of the board. He volunteered as a coach for numerous sports, including his daughters' teams. Ron enjoyed woodworking, cooking and lawn care, earning the title of "best yard in Wells."

Ron is survived by his daughters: Allison Korn of Bloomington, MN, Mayor Haleigh Korn of Klossner, MN, Kaitlin Korn of Fairmont, MN; siblings: Alice (Richard) Their of Adrian, MN, Ray (Rhonda) Korn of NC, Rene (Lonnie) Dylla of North Mankato, MN, Tim (Chris) Korn of Fairmont, MN; and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and their families.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
