Roman Gordon Bach, age 99 of Minnesota Lake, MN, died November 30th, 2017, due to complications of a massive stroke at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Minnesota Lake with Fr. Jason Kern, officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church on Wednesday. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Roman Gordon Bach was born January 31, 1918 the son of John Peter and Amelia (Stencel) Bach in Danville Township, Blue Earth County, MN. He attended country school in Danville Township and St. Peter and Paul's Catholic School in Mankato. Roman was born in and lived his entire life in the same farm house that his grandparents built on the original Bach homestead farm, except for the past year when he lived at The Beacon in Mapleton. Roman was a lifelong farmer and an active and faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Minnesota Lake, MN.

Roman is survived by special nephews, Ron (wife Evelyn) Neubauer of Freeborn, and Gary (wife Julie) Bach of Minnesota Lake, MN, and 28 other nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers: Edmund Bach, Remigius (Elizabeth) Bach, Victorian (Daisy) Bach, and John Bach; 3 sisters: Delores Bach, Beatrice (Joe) Neubauer, and Virginia Joan (Maurice) Van Rossum.
