Heart Emblem

It is with heavy, yet peaceful hearts, we announce the death of our sister, Patti Lynn (Johnson) Stolz. She joined infant daughter and her parents in Heaven Friday, October 12, 2018. She was 59 years old.
Patti was born to Forrest and Patricia (Nowicki) Johnson February 6, 1959 in Blue Earth, MN. She grew up on the family farm Northwest of Easton, MN, where many fond memories were made with her family. She attended Delavan Public School and graduated in 1977. She was a cheerleader, a member of the band and choir, National Honor Society, annual staff and other activities. She enjoyed music, sports and spending time with her friends. She was confirmed at the Methodist Church in Delavan. After high school, she worked at Viking Homes in Wells and later furthered her education at McConnell Travel School in Minneapolis. She worked at Dollar Rent-A-Car at MSP Airport after graduation.
She was married on September 18, 1982 and to this union three children were born, Tyler, Zachary and Madison. Patti lived in several places before settling in Fort Dodge, IA. Through no control of her own, Patti gradually lost touch with her birth family and her closest friends. She continued to be deeply loved from a distance. She was a selfless, devoted wife and a loving mother, always remaining humble and kind. She was a gentle spirit.
Patti was preceded in death by her infant daughter in 1994, her parents in 2012, uncles, aunts, cousins, grandparents and friends.
She is survived by her two sons, spouse, three brothers: Mike (Marlene) Johnson of Fairmont, Brian Johnson of Good Thunder, Doug (LaNay) Johnson of N. Mankato, MN; her sister, Pam (Mark) Braunshausen of Easton; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; two Aunts; many cousins and a host of friends.
A prayer service will be held in November at Lura Cemetery by her family farm with Deacon Gene Paul leading in prayer as her family says a final goodbye to their sister and Aunt.
Her brothers and sister would like to thank all doctors, nurses, hospice workers and social workers for the care given to Patti throughout her life.
Patti bore a heavy cross for much of her adult life and for that has earned her great reward in Heaven. She is at Peace. She is finally free.
