Mark Patrick McCue, age 77, died May 1, 2018 at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10:30 AM the School Sisters of Notre Dame Good Counsel Chapel in Mankato with Father John Kunz officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery in Delevan, MN.

Mark was born May 17, 1940, in Delavan, MN, the son of Willard and Violet (O'Neil) McCue. Mark attended elementary school in Delavan and graduated high school at St. John's Prep School in Collegeville. Following high school, Mark attended Loras College and then began working with his brother, John, in Chicago, IL, managing parking facilities until retirement. Upon retirement, Mark returned home to the family farm in Delavan and served as lector and organist at Mater Dolorosa parish in Delavan and organist at St. Mary's parish in Winnebago. Mark spent winters in Florida before permanently moving to John Knox Village in Pompano Beach, Florida where he loved soaking up the sun and socializing with his neighbors. Mark had a beautiful singing voice and was a member of the Holy Name Cathedral Concert Choir in Chicago and the Men's Concert Choir in Pompano Beach, FL. Mark served as a volunteer lector and Eucharistic Minister at St. Henry's parish and the John Knox Village in Pompano Beach, FL.

Mark is survived by his sister, Sr. Marilyn McCue, School Sisters of Notre Dame, Mankato, MN, nephews: Jason (Nancy) McCue, Minnesota Lake, Minnesota; Dan (Jeanne) McCue, Joe (Angelo) McCue, Patrick McCue all of Chicago, Illinois, and nieces: Mary (Terry) Lippert, Nancy McCue Nanstiel both of Chicago, Illinois; Kelly (Joe) McCue-Bower of Saint Paul, Minnesota, and many great nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Violet McCue and his brothers, John and Paul McCue.
