Kathryn Mazurkiewicz, age 64, of Minnesota Lake, MN, died Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at her home from liver cancer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Minnesota Lake, MN with Father Greg Havel officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Interment will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Minnesota Lake, MN. Kathryn was born July 7, 1955 in Newark, NJ, the daughter of Fred and Carol (Mixon) Rowland. She graduated from Leilehua High School in HI, and attended Honolulu University and majored in accounting. Kathryn was a manager for San Francisco Music Box Company. She was united in marriage to Joseph Mazurkiewicz, January 22, 1996 in Virginia Beach, VA. Kathryn was a store manager in Virginia before moving to Minnesota and opening the Owatonna Lowes. Kathryn liked knitting, watching cooking shows and religious shows. She enjoyed helping people and loved being with her family.
She is survived by her husband: Joe Mazurkiewicz of Minnesota Lake, MN; sons: Robert and Shawn Mazurkiewicz both of Minnesota Lake, MN; sisters: Patty (Edward) Kravitz of Petersburb, NJ , Mandy (Phil) Magee of NC; brothers: Fred Rowland of Belmar, NJ and Billy Rowland of Howell, NJ; step-mother Marion Rowland of Howell, NJ.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents; sons: Joey Mazurkiewicz and Stephan Mazurkiewicz.
