Cory M. Greff, age 48, of Easton, MN, died Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at his home after a courageous battle with appendix cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 10:30 AM at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells. Visitation will be Friday, February 28, from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, MN with a rosary at the conclusion of the visitation. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery with Fr. Greg Havel officiating.
Cory was born June 4, 1971 the son of Leo and Patricia (Thomas) Greff in Bismark, ND. He graduated from Lisbon High School in 1988 and the University of Moorhead. Cory was a Service Manager at Case IH in Alden, MN. He enjoyed spending time at the campground, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles. Cory liked to head to the casino and play blackjack, where he was recently dealt a winning hand. He was a diehard Vikings fan, cheering them on with a Coors Light in his hand. Cory loved being around family and friends. He will be remembered by his quote, "I work hard, I play hard!"
Cory is survived by his daughters: Tristen Greff of Winona; Amelia and Abigail Greff both of Blue Earth, MN; parents Leo and Patricia Greff of Fergus Falls, MN; siblings: Ryan Greff (Heather Brostrom) of Moorhead, MN, Mary (Steve) Haefner of Las Vegas, NV, Sara Irmen (Chris Haugen) of Jamestown, ND; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Fred and Kathryn Thomas and Mike Greff; uncle Paul Greff; aunt Sharon Greff.
