Brandon James Goodrich, age 55, of Easton, MN died Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 2, 2017, at 10:30 AM, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Easton, with Fr. Andrew Vogel officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, January 1, from 2:00 – 5:00 PM, at OLMC Catholic Church, and continue one hour prior to the service on Monday. Interment will be at OLMC Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Elevator Fund.

Brandon was born August 13, 1961 in Wells, MN, the son of Byron and Norma (Krohnberg) Goodrich. He graduated from Delavan High School in 1979. He attended South Central College, and graduated with a degree in Farm Mechanics and Business. Brandon was a lifelong farmer, who farmed with his best friend Sheldon every day. Whether he was in the shop or on a tractor, he was happy. Brandon was incredibly hard-working, and was always the first one up in the morning. He was very talented in the shop, and was an excellent welder. He was always thinking, and had a creative mind for building and fixing things. He enjoyed pool, bowling, darts, and golfing. He looked forward to his golf trip to Palm Springs, CA every winter with his buddies. Brandon had a laid-back personality. He was quiet, but there was no shortage of close family and good friends in his life. Brandon was a man who would always have your back, and he was always there for his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Mary and Burton Goodrich, and Fritz and Irene Krohnberg; sister, Sheila Gallaher; niece, Ashley Gallaher; and a brother in infancy.

Brandon is survived by his parents, Byron and Norma of Mankato, MN; brother-in-law Grant (Mary) Gallaher of Rochester, MN; siblings: Sheldon (Sharla) Goodrich of Easton, MN, and Dana (Richard) Murry of Mankato, MN; beloved dog, Clyde; nieces and nephews: Amber, Molly and Cody Gallaher, Danielle (Lewis) Remund, Brittany (Kevin) Nowak, Dylan (Kaitlyn) Goodrich, Lindsey (Andrew) Northenscold, MacKenzie and Shelby Murry; great-nieces and nephews: James and Jada Remund, Charlotte Goodrich, and Will Northenscold.
