Bonaventure "Bonnie" Eugene Schuster, age 82, of Easton, MN died Thursday, July 20, 2017 at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 24, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, with Fr. Eugene Stenzel and Deacon Eugene Paul officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 2-5 PM at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, MN, and continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at OLMC Cemetery, Barber Twp., Faribault Co., MN.
Bonnie was born September 12, 1934 in Minnesota Lake, MN, the son of John "Jack" and Florence (Meyer) Schuster. He graduated from Delavan High School. Bonnie was united in marriage to Annette Voss on August 23, 1960 in Minnesota Lake. Together they raised their family, and were proud to have the same address and phone number for over 50 years. Bonnie was a dairy farmer and was a member of the Dairy Association. He was active at OLMC as a council member, lector and choir member. Bonnie enjoyed his grandchildren and attending their sporting events and other activities. He also liked cutting wood and playing cards. Bonnie was quick witted and had a good sense of humor.
Bonnie is survived by his wife, Annette; children: Todd (Ann Marie) Schuster, Curt (Melissa) Schuster, Audrey (Pete) Anderson, Brian (Estee) Schuster; grandchildren: Lauren and John Schuster, Carissa and Bryson Schuster, Nick and Joe Anderson, and Cassie Schuster; brother, Marvin Schuster; brother-in-law, Louis Staloch; and many nieces and nephews and their families.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Marvel Staloch, daughter-in-law Sara Schuster; sister-in-law Patricia Schuster.
