Arleen Harriet Klingbeil, age 94, of Wells, MN died Friday, August 25, 2017 at Parkview Care Center in Wells, MN. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM, at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, MN, with Pr. Mary Iverson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Tuesday. Interment will be held at Rosehill Cemetery in Wells.
Arleen was born August 3, 1923 the daughter of John and Anna (Shockley) Christensen in Lincoln Co. MN, along with her twin sister Aileen. Arleen was united in marriage to Maynard Klingbeil on August 10, 1943 in Wells, MN. Arleen and Maynard lived in Conger for 30 years where they made many wood crafts together. She loved to cook and entertain, play games and cards with her company. Arleen was a very talented woman, she sewed many of her own clothes and played electric guitar and the organ. When she was in good health, Arleen enjoyed being with the residents and staff of Parkview Care Center. Arleen missed seeing and spending time with her twin sister Aileen, who lives in the Mankato Care Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Maynard; her siblings; and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Arleen is survived by her sisters: Aileen Meyer of Mankato, Florence Kulla of Waseca; many nieces, nephews, and their families.
