Antonio (Tony) Armando Trujillo, age 23, of Albert Lea, MN, died Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at his home in Albert Lea, MN. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Antonio Armando was born September 20, 1994 in Rochester, MN, the son Fidel Trujillo and Jo Dell "Jodi" (Hodge) Trujillo. He graduated from United South Central High School in 2013. After graduation, Tony worked at Cedar Valley Services, Inc. in Albert Lea. Tony had a very caring and special soul from the day he was born and inspired many. Despite the challenges he faced from Spina Bifida, he always wore a smile and never let his disability hinder him. Tony was also a social butterfly and never met a stranger. He was taken from his loved ones just a day shy of his 24th birthday. He really looked forward to his birthday and always counted down the days. Tony enjoyed playing wheelchair basketball and baseball, watching sports, playing video games, fishing, listening to all kinds of music, and hanging out with friends. He also loved spending time with his mentor, Larry Peterson and his wife Ruth. Tony enjoyed spending time with his family.

Tony is preceded in death by his grandparents: Daniel and Carol Hodge, Evanjelina Del Hierro, Hijinio Trujillo, Manuel Talamantes; great-grandmother Cecelia Young; and cousins: Sara Pourrier, Amy Pourrier, and Brad Young.

He is survived by his parents Jodi and Fidel Trujillo of Wells, MN; sister Jessica Trujillo of Wells, MN; half siblings: Abel Trujillo of Mexico, Joel Trujillo of Mexico, and Cristina Trujillo of Arizona; best friend Lucas Virgil of Albert Lea; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his family at Trail Side Apartments in Albert Lea.

Tony was only here for a short time before he was called to heaven, but was loved very much by all who had the honor to know him. Tony will be forever in our hearts.
