Albin Fred Kayser, age 95, died September 2, 2019 at St Luke's Lutheran Care Center, Blue Earth, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Saturday, September 7, 2019 at St. Cecelia Catholic Church, 715 E. North St., in Algona, Iowa with Father Sunny Dominic officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 7 PM Friday, September 6, 2019 at St. Cecelia Catholic Church and also one hour before Mass at church on Saturday. Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in St. Joseph, Iowa with military funeral honors accorded by the Algona Honor Guard. Arrangements by Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, MN. Albin was born May 2, 1924 in Kossuth Co., Iowa to Peter and Mary (Anthony) Kayser. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus since high school graduation. Albin joined the Army summer of 1944, served stateside as Military Police and was honorable discharged in 1946. He was united in marriage to Helen Becker January 14, 1947 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joe, IA. Albin farmed for many years and was also involved in sales and loved it. He was employed by Morman Feed Manufacturing Co from Quincy, IL and also sold real estate in the LaCrosse, WI area. Albin enjoyed playing golf along with spending time with his family.

Albin is survived by his wife Helen of Blue Earth, MN; children Edward Kayser of Lawton, OK, Mary A. Lynch of Carrollton, TX, Harold (Mary) Kayser of Easton, MN, Michael (Pat) Kayser of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Carla (James) Brookman of La Porte, CO, Thomas (Kim) Kayser of Pompano Beach, FL, Cynthia (Rafe) Ropek of Berthoud, CO, Albin (Karen) Kayser of LaCrosse, WI, John (Peg) Kayser of Yucaipa, CA, Sharon (Dayo) Popoola of Chicago, IL, James (Tracy) Kayser of LaCrosse, WI, son-in-law, John Vogel of Sante Fe, NM; 21 grandchildren; 2 grandstepchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 6 great-grandstepchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandstepchildren.

Albin was preceded in death by his daughter Donna Vogel; daughter-in-law Nellie Kayser; granddaughter Kimberly Kayser; brothers Charles, Herb, Norm and Bob Kayser; sisters Verena McGuire and Corrine Chambers.
