Condolence & Memory Journal

Kelly and Family

I know I should greet and in your family, yet I'm not sure I would know all of Barney's kids.

Many times he would tell Gary and I the story about when he was a young boy..had to be in 1939, when Gary's grampa Stanley Bushlack had passed away.
He remembered waiting at the Wells Depot for the train to come in with his dad. I believe the way the story went: He was there to help place Stanley's gravestone on a wagon, drawn by horses up to the cemetery to be placed on Stanley's grave. We're not sure how many men and boys were there at the time, yet, his father insisted he was to go help.

I always thought...what a memory he it's precious..

This greeting is also so very late, yet, better late than never.

Love to all of your family and blessings too.

It won't be the same this summer driving into the yard and not seeing Barney flying around the yard on the mower or the side by side, It was a very rare day that he wasn't on one or the other when you went by. I know Todd is going to miss not having dad around there. I'm sorry for the loss of your Father,

So sorry to hear Barney passed. My dad's best friend since they were kids and of course very special to all of us who had the pleasure of enjoying his hospitality and just knowing that he would always welcome you. He sure knew his local history and that will sure be missed. He played a big part just being there for us kids when we were young. My fondest memories are times spent at his farm. I will sure miss
