Delores and I started first grade together at the Pink School House west of Wells. I remember walking the mile home with her on nice days. I also remember sitting next to her in high school algebra. I often struggled in that class and she quietly helped me from across the aisle. I was not only impressed by her smarts, but by her social maturity. Delores was nice to everyone and never got into the typical teenage silliness. Her Prom date was an older guy from out of town while the rest of us attended with the kids we had known for years. That prom date, of course, was her future husband.

I last saw Delores at a Pink School House reunion. I'm sorry I won't have another chance to reminisce with her. My heart goes out to her family, who lost her so unexpectedly. She was a very good person.

Hello to all of Delores' family

As I sit here thinking about Delores, I think about her attributes of serving her God and her church community. We were in St Teresa's Circle together and for many years, Delores, her mom, Hattie, and myself mastered the dishwasher room for our annual soup and pie supper. Oh, what fun we had and Delores was the chief and we were all her Indians. Delores did her job with such humility, humor and work ethic.

She made working together fun and was always very Christian-like.

I will truly miss her as she always gave a 'light' when she was in our group.
May God bless her in her special way. I'm sure she will be missed by her family and friends.

All my sympathies. Ron. I trust she she lived a long and fruitful life and will continue to live through her children. Remain strong and stay positive. This is yet another phase of her journey.

This makes God's design no less masterful and brilliant.

My condolences
