A visitation will be held Thursday, January 30th, 2020 from 4-7pm at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home, Wells, MN. Burial will be at a later date.

Tim was a truck driver for many years and had his own construction company, Johnson Siding & Windows. He was a guy who loved being social, having a cold beer with friends, playing cards, crafting, wood working, hosting football parties on his deck and letting off fireworks for every hometown score. Most of all, he loved spending Sunday mornings with his favorite grandchildren, Trevor and Kinley.
Tim is survived by his sons Caleb Johnson (fiancé Miranda McGregor) of Minnesota Lake, MN and Zachary Johnson of Wells, MN; grandchildren Trevor and Kinley Johnson; special friend, Michelle Holmes Brandt of Wells, MN; siblings: Steve Johnson of New Prague, Claire (Kim) Johnson of Wells, Danny Johnson of Wells, Lanny (Teri) Johnson of Easton, Mary (Randy) Akemann of Emmons, MN; along with many nieces and nephews and their families along with close friends.
Tim was proceeded in death by his father, Ingval in 1979, mother Shirley in 2002, and brother James in 2016.
The Family requests that all of his "favorite" people gather at the VFW after visitation for socializing and storytelling.

Back in the 70's we were very good friends. After moving on to our adult lives, our paths never crossed again but I remembered those good times together and always thought we'd connect someday and see that each other's lives turned out just fine. From what I read here, that part certainly is true for Tim. My sympathies and condolences to his loved ones - he was a very good person, the best of friends. May Tim's soul rest in Peace!

I just want the Family to know how Sad and Sorry I am about the passing of Tim
Him and I have so much History it's so hard to believe that he is gone.

He used to pick me up after school starting way back when I was only 14 years old. We would just drive around and talk, I actually lost a job because I decided I would rather ride around with him instead if going to work.
Back in the day we used to do a lot of Haunted House Hunting- that was a lot of fun
I have so so many memories I could share but there isn't enough room here, I could probably write a book

Caleb and Zach - I feel so bad for you boys and the Grandkids- just know I'll be thinking about you both.
I was with your Dad a lot when you boys were younger

Again I'm so Sorry for your Loss
