Condolence & Memory Journal

Just heard about Mike passing. Have some good memories and some interesting memories as we grew up as neighbors. My condolences to his loved ones. If he has not changed through the years, there can be no doubt that he will be greatly missed.

I did not know Mike personally. My Dad, Henry Walser, was a good friend of Mike's Dad, John. They both loved horse racing and would go to the track together. They shared good times and stories of their families. The Nowak's are cousins of mine on my Mom's side (Bair). Sorry for your loss. Kathy Walser Bray

We were part of Mike's Breakfast Network. We have been meeting every month for decades. It's hard to believe that we will no longer be a foursome. His quiet nature but sharp wit will me missed with his standard order of coffee and a favorite muffin. We have shared many a frustration on our work, legislation, and the ironies of making systems work. Mike was always there for us to get advice, give actual examples, and share stories. Rest in peace Mike. The last few months have been rocky, but your have chosen your own path...........as we all will. Strength to all of your family and that we all keep telling stories of you.

SO sorry to hear the news. Missy and I always enjoyed our visits up north with Mike and the gang. As i read the obit I can't help but see father John as I look at your photo. Grannys/Longville/bingo and sweetcorn feeds will never be the same. Thinking of the whole family , many who we consider very good friends. The world lost a very smart , good man. Gods speed.

Sorry we will not be present for the memorial service for Michael, but we will be with you in thought. Please accept our condolences. "God so loved the world so that who so ever believes in me, shall never die". The birth of His Son is observed on Christmas, and so Michael's new life began on Christmas day, too.
