Condolence & Memory Journal

Our condolences to the entire Voigt family; what a tribute to Melvin's many life accomplishments with the most notable being his family. We hope the sorrow of his passing is soon eclipsed by many wonderful memories of your time with him. Our best to you all,

Brad and family

My prayers go out to Margaret and family. As Leila (and Brett) I only met them once but remember them both with great fondness. I wish Margaret the true peace that only Jesus Christ can provide.

I remember bean walking with Tall farmer Melvin and the rest of the kids. I was only part of the work for a short time one summer, but looking back it was Melvin that lead everyone on. He seemed to enjoy the hard work , but it was also the joking and the talks we all had along the path down the field and Melvin smiling , blazing the way. The lunch time was special too, more joking among all those kids all picking on the youngest, sorry Lou and the teasing of Mugs. And Melvin smiling soaking it all in sitting at the end surrounding by his family of hard workers and feeling proud. And oh boy what a meal farmers eat at Lunch. I totally understood how everyone including Melvin could eat a huge plate of meat & potatoes and stay so fit and trim. He will be missed by each and everyone of the Voigt clan. My family will be thinking of all of you. Keep those memories alive as you all come together and sharing in a beautiful man that was loved so much by all of you. Sharie & Ona Ylvisaker
