Edward H. Quinn, age 89, of Freeborn, MN, died Monday, April 15, 2019 at St. John's The Woodlands in Albert Lea, MN. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, MN with Pastor Don Malinsky officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Military Honors will be accorded by the Freeborn American Legion Post. Interment will be in Freeborn Cemetery in Freeborn, MN. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is assisting the family.

Edward Harold was born August 9, 1929 in Freeborn Twp., Freeborn Co., MN, the son of Harold and Marie (Hoien) Quinn. Edward was united in marriage to Doris Ann Schewe, March 30, 1954 at Concordia Bear Lake Lutheran Church. Edward worked at Woods Produce in Freeborn and at JCPenny in Albert Lea for several years. He was a custodian at Freeborn High School for many years, later retiring in 1994. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family. Edward was a member of Freeborn United Church of Christ until its closure.

Edward is preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Chuck (Elvia) Quinn, Dorothy (Walt) Anderson and Tommy Quinn; sisters and brothers-in-law: Bernice (Carl) Bangert, Shirley (Lars) Petersen and Herbert Schewe; son-in-law, Brian Staska.

He is survived by his wife Doris of Albert Lea; 4 children: David (Susan) Quinn of Inver Grove Heights, MN, Sandra (Randy) Tomschin of Alden, MN, Barbara (Paul) Deckard of Reedsburg, WI, and Wanda Staska of Austin, MN; 9 grandchildren: Keegan Quinn, Ian Quinn, Bradley (Jessica) Tomschin, Kelly (Steven) Krell, Andrea (Daniel) Larson, Amanda (Eddie) Dorow, Brooke Goligowski, Kaitlyn Goligowski, and Madison Staska; 3 great-grandchildren: Shay, Layne and Grant; sister-in-law: Marvel Schewe of Albert Lea, MN; along with many nieces and nephews.
