Evelyn was one of the nicest people anyone would want to meet. When we would chat after Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Easton, she would always ask about my Mom (who passed away in 2007). My Mom use to go to the Bass Lake Ballroom in her younger days, so I think that's where they knew each other from.
