Sherryl Lynn Warmka, age 63, of Easton, MN died Friday, January 5, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, MN, of heart complications. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 13, 2017, from 12:00 – 3:00 PM at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Easton, MN. Interment will follow at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Easton. Memorials are preferred to the Easton Fire Department.

Sherry Lynn was born on Dec 24, 1954, in Mountain Lake, MN, the daughter of Earl and Vesta (Stahl) Schmidt. Sherry graduated from Mountain Lake High School in 1973. On June 2, 1984 she married Ken Warmka in Easton, MN. She and Ken farmed for several years and she owned Old and New Consignments in Minnesota Lake. She also worked at area restaurants, Parker Oaks, and most recently at the Wells school. Throughout her life, she enjoyed traveling, visiting light houses, canoeing, riding motorcycle, gardening, cooking, baking, and having fun with her friends and family.

She is survived by her 7 children: Cedric (wife Michelle) Friesen, and their children, Gavin, Mara, and Reece of Holmen, WI; Justin (wife Staci) Warmka, and their children, Kilen (wife Grace), Landin, Haiden, and Kenley of Alpha, MN; Becca Friesen of Newnan, GA; Sheldon (wife Ingrid) Warmka, and their children Heaven, Sidney, Cole, Madison, and Geraldine of Winnebego, MN; Jade (wife Lyssa) Warmka and their child Hudson of Wells, MN; Ty Warmka of Mankato, MN; and Saxon (wife Amanda) Warmka of Easton, MN; 4 sisters and brothers: Carla and Roger Rahn, Sandy and Dale Winters, Nene and Dean Smestad, and Keith Schmidt; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ken, nephew Jason Winters, and grand-daughter Emma Warmka.

So sorry to hear the news of Sherryl's passing. She and Ken had some great get togethers at their farm. It was always a good time and fun to see everyone there. It was always a big crowd. Thoughts and prayers coming your way!!
