Unfortunately I will be out of town on Friday and not able to attend the events. Just wanted to send my families condolences with Richard's passing.
Also on behave of the original deer hunters from Wells (Tom and Al Schulenberg, Brad and Mike Niebuhr) we look back and fondly remember all of the hunters that have been in camp over the many years of its existence. We have made a placard for the cabin saying WELLS BOYZ which most of the locals up there refer to this landmark as.

For some reason Richard had mercy on me when I held my buttered piece of bread too close to him and he didn't flip it on the floor. He informed me later after I had finished eating that the temptation was quite great. He had a wonderful low soothing voice which is one of my strongest draws to his son Wayne who has the same attribute.
