Barney will be cherished and respected for a long long time. He truly was an all American and a perfect example of what has come to be recognized as the greatest generation.

It won't be the same this summer driving into the yard and not seeing Barney flying around the yard on the mower or the side by side, It was a very rare day that he wasn't on one or the other when you went by. I know Todd is going to miss not having dad around there. I'm sorry for the loss of your Father,

So sorry to hear Barney passed. My dad's best friend since they were kids and of course very special to all of us who had the pleasure of enjoying his hospitality and just knowing that he would always welcome you. He sure knew his local history and that will sure be missed. He played a big part just being there for us kids when we were young. My fondest memories are times spent at his farm. I will sure miss

I had the pleasure of visiting Barney this past summer on his patio. He was in good spirits and as always friendly. We shared memories and I will always remember being welcome at his home and Bebbs making me breakfast. My condolences to the family. Barney was one of kind.

So sorry to hear about this. I always enjoyed being around Barney. He always expressed a joy of life and injected into those around him and I was one of the lucky recipients while I lived in Wells. May God comfort you in this time of grief .
